Created by Audrey Saunders in 2002 at Pegu Club in New York. A Mojito–Champagne hybrid that became a modern classic instantly.

Muddle mint gently with simple syrup in a shaker. Add rum, lime, bitters, and ice. Shake and double-strain into a chilled flute. Top with champagne. Garnish with a mint sprig.
